Erin Filby is an Early Childhood Educator, and a Community Organizer who has worked with the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario (AECEO) for 6 years. At the AECEO Erin supports Early Childhood Educators to build local advocacy communities that offer a sense of belonging, agency, and hope to their participants.

Erin has been involved in advocacy and activism for 15 years, and has taught the principals of participatory democracy to adults around the world for the last 7 years. She is proud to help others gain the tools they need to find collective power and build change that is aligned with their values.

Erin believes that supportive relationships are the best foundations for activism, and that those in the caring professions already possess the skills and strengths needed to create communities that centre justice and progress.
