The AECEO is the professional association for early childhood educators in Ontario. Throughout our history, the AECEO has been directly involved in important developments in early childhood education and care in our province, playing a key role in the areas of training, public awareness, certification, networking, and recognition for the ECE profession in Ontario.

The AECEO works towards the systemic change needed to achieve professional wages and better working conditions for all early childhood educators, child care workers and early years professionals in Ontario. The introduction of the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care system has made the work of the AECEO more important than ever before. Supporting the AECEO contributes to making $10-a-day child care a reality in Ontario. Together, we can build a system that meets the needs of children, families, educators, and communities.
